My interest in photography started in high school, taking friends’ senior photos with my mom’s 1980s film camera. I went to photography school in Montana. I pursued art education and taught for 13 years and absolutely loved my job. I taught photography for ten of those years. Many of my former students have gone on to become full time photographers and artists, which is an honor! Photography has been my side job for the last 17 years. In December 2022, I had the most gorgeous baby boy. My husband and I had struggled with infertility for years and leaving him everyday to spend 40 hours away from him was too much for my new mama heart. I resigned from my teaching career, and photography has provided me the opportunity to spend more time with my sweet son.

I love people and will photograph all ages and events. I miss my teenagers and especially love when I get to take senior photos.

I love making each session unique for the people I am photographing. I have a wide range of styles. You won't come to my page to see a certain "niche" or style. I want the style for your photos to be unique to what flatters you and your life. If you like bright and airy, or dark, moody, or black and white. I want to make your session match you! Photos should be fun and not stressful. I try to make them full of games and special moments for everyone. I want you to feel good about yourself and the memories we capture. I firmly believe that each person is uniquely and wonderfully designed. Your memories, your life, your face, your entire being is worthy of beautiful and high end photography. You do not have to wait to be married or have children or look the perfect way to be professionally photographed. Your life is valuable and worthy of being documented and preserved in every stage.
